Sample Room Training Instructor
Head Office – Colombo 10
Maliban Wovens (Pvt) Ltd, one of Sri Lanka’s leading apparel manufacturers, is looking for a passionate and experienced Sample Room Training Instructor to develop the skills of our sample room team and support excellence in garment sample development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct training for Sample Machine Operators and new recruits.
- Develop and implement training plans for Pants & Jackets sample operations.
- Demonstrate correct sewing methods, garment construction, and quality standards.
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide continuous coaching.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality requirements, and workplace safety.
- Coordinate with Technical, Pattern, QA, and Merchandising teams on training needs.
- Maintain training records and prepare progress reports.
Individual Profile
- Diploma/NVQ in Clothing Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in garment sample room operations.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and sample development.
- Previous experience in training or supervising operators is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
