We are looking for an experienced and strategic finance professional to lead our finance / billing department and oversee all financial matters, reporting directly to the Directors.

Support expansion and international operations.
Financial Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals. Provide strategic financial insights and guidance to the Directors for informed decision-making.
Financial Reporting & Audit: Prepare weekly and monthly audit reports with detailed analysis and commentary. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Accounting & Systems: Oversee full set of accounts, reconciliations and month-end / year-end closing. Proficient in QuickBooks (QB) and other ERP systems; drive system efficiency, data integrity and process improvements.
Finance / Billing Department Management: Head the finance / billing department and be fully responsible for all functions including accounting, billing, invoicing, collections, payables, payroll and related financial operations. Establish best practices, workflows and performance standards across the department.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and variance analysis. Monitor financial performance and ensure alignment with operational targets.
Cash Flow & Fund Management: Manage cash flows, working capital and liquidity. Optimize financing structure and banking relationships.
Taxation & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with local tax laws, VAT, NBT, ESC, WHT and other statutory obligations. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
Stakeholder & Board Relations: Report directly to the Directors. Build strong relationships with banks, auditors, business partners and external stakeholders.
Fully qualified in Accounting: CA / CIMA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a senior level finance role.
Strong, hands-on knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and internal controls.
Expertise in taxation including Corporate Tax, VAT, NBT, ESC, WHT and other related taxes.
Proficiency in QuickBooks (QB) and other ERP / accounting software.
Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, cost control and variance analysis.
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment.
Candidates based in Colombo and surrounding areas are preferred.
