VACANCY
We are one of the leading manufacturing organizations in Sri Lanka, seeking young, dynamic, and energetic individuals to join our Supply Chain Department immediately to handle group purchases. Our business interests are in the sectors of home care, personal care, health care, hardware and steel, and renewable energy.
COMMERCIAL EXECUTIVE
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle all local purchasing requirements.
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment terms.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, and other essentials to support uninterrupted factory operations.
- Maintain proper documentation and supplier records as per company policies.
- Coordinate with factory management and other departments to understand purchase needs and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of local suppliers and market dynamics.
- Experience in Hardware section will be an added advantage
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility.
- Should have working knowledge of the ERP/SAP system
- Should have a Supply chain management degree from a reputed university/Institute
