BANCASSURANCE ASSISTANT

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and issue insurance quotations, policies, endorsements, certificates, and invoices for motor and non-motor products.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of policy documents to bancassurance partners.
- Coordinate policy amendments, renewals, reinstatements, cancellations, and refunds.
- Assist customers and bank partners with claims inquiries and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Handle inquiries and complaints relating to policies, payments, renewals, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with AML requirements, company policies, and internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports.
- Provide general operational and administrative support to the Bancassurance team.
QUALIFICATIONS & PRE-REQUISES
- Passed G.C.E A/L with O3 Main Subjects in one sitting (excluding General English & Optional Subjects) AND Passed G.C.E O/L with Credit passes for Mathematics, English, Sinhala/Tamil (within two sittings).
- 1-2 years' experience in insurance, bancassurance, or a similar operational/customer service role would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of motor and non-motor insurance products is an advantage.
- Good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Good computer literacy, particularly in MS Office.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Age should be below 30 years.
