STUDENT COUNSELLORS
Responsibilities
- Provide Individual and or group counselling to students on a range of educational, personal or any other issues
- Attend to the welfare issues that may be affecting their ability to study and liaise and refer students to appropriate sections
- Act as an advisor and or consultant to students on issues related to emotional aspects of learning and on student’s welfare
- Make independent decisions related to students’ academic activities and provide advice for Management decisions
- Maintain confidentiality in all the duties performed
Qualification and Experiences
- Must be a Graduate of a Local/ Foreign University or with a Professional Qualification of a recognized institution in Counselling
- The candidate should possess a minimum of three (03) years of working experience in a similar capacity
- Good communication skill of both oral and written English and Sinhala. Trilingual will be an added advantage
- Competent level of IT Proficiency
