PROCUREMENT CUM PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE

Tallees Advertising (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a mature, highly experienced and hands-on Procurement cum Production Executive to join our team in Colombo. The ideal candidate should be over 40 years of age, with a minimum 10-15 years' experience in procurement, production, printing, promotional merchandise or a related industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source, identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
- Develop new suppliers and maintain a supplier database.
- Coordinate samples and ensure they meet exact specifications before client approval and bulk production.
- Monitor production from sample stage through to final delivery.
- Regularly visit suppliers and follow up on ongoing production.
- Ensure quality, colours, materials, sizes, finishes and specifications are met.
- Carry out strict quality control of all products before delivery.
- Handle procurement and production of promotional merchandise, printing, packaging, garments and customised products.
- Check garment sizing, fabric quality, stitching and workmanship.
- Negotiate supplier pricing and resolve production, pricing and quality issues promptly.
- Ensure all orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Obtain necessary approvals, permits and certificates from relevant authorities when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while continuously sourcing new vendors.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Age: 40 years and above
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of procurement, production processes and quality control
- Experience in the printing / advertising / promotional merchandise industry would be a strong advantage
- Excellent supplier negotiation and vendor-management skills
- Detail-oriented and quality conscious
- Able to identify and resolve production defects before delivery
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for assigned jobs
- Proactive, dependable and comfortable visiting suppliers and monitoring production personally

WORKING HOURS
Mon – Fri 8.30 am – 5.30 pm; Sat 8.30 am – 1.00 pm
