FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Join Gennext (Private) Limited and be part of a team that's driving digital transformation across Sri Lanka. We're looking for a Financial Accountant with strong financial accounting expertise and hands-on experience in an import, trading, or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial accounting and month-end closing activities
- Prepare management accounts, financial reports and reconciliations
- Handle import accounting, landed costing, LCs, import financing, supplier settlements, and foreign currency transactions
- Manage inventory accounting, stock reconciliations and Cost of Sales
- Monitor accounts payable, receivables, cash flow and working capital
- Ensure compliance with VAT, SSLC, WHT, APIT and other regulatory requirements
- Maintain internal ERP transactions and strong financial controls
- Support audits and provide financial insights to management
What We’re Looking For
- Professional qualification in CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Proven experience in financial accounting within an import, trading or distribution environment
- Strong analytical, reporting and ERP skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
