TECHNICAL DATA SPECIALIST
IPD is a publicly listed Australian company providing electrical engineering products and solutions to the Australian market for over 70 years. IPD Colombo team is the offshore unit of IPD Australia and currently consists of over 200 professionals collaborating with over 450 team members across Australia in a dynamic and innovative environment to achieve high quality results.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Data Specialist to manage and maintain accurate information and technical specifications for electrical products and accessories across websites, marketing materials, and catalogues. You will work closely with Product Managers and analyse supplier documentation to ensure product requirements are correctly captured.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate product data across PIM, ERP, and eCommerce platforms.
- Analyse and validate technical product information.
- Prepare datasheets, technical documents, and price lists.
- Respond to product enquiries and support data quality.
- Work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS:
- A Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 1-2 years' experience.
- Strong analytical and technical data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in data management tools.
- Familiar with AI applications and research methods.
- High attention to detail with good communication skills.
- Experience with PIM/ERP or electrical product data is an added advantage.
