SEO Specialist
Own the Growth of a Wellness Brand
At Bilesma Natural, we're bringing Ayurvedic wellness into the digital age — and our WooCommerce store needs someone who can take full ownership of both running the website and driving its growth through search.
This is not an assistant role — you'll be the person responsible for how our website runs and how it ranks.
What you'll own
- Day-to-day management and maintenance of our WooCommerce website — product listings, pages, plugins/themes updates, uptime, and general site health.
- Troubleshooting website issues as they come up (broken pages, checkout/cart issues, login conflicts, performance drops)
- Full SEO strategy and execution — on-page, off-page, and technical
- Keyword research and content optimization across product and blog pages
- Website performance monitoring via Google Search Console, GA4, and other SEO tools
- Diagnosing and fixing technical SEO issues (page speed, mobile responsiveness, indexing, crawl errors)
- Writing and optimizing blog posts and product page content for search
- Competitor analysis — keywords, backlinks, and content gaps
- Local SEO, including managing and growing our Google Business Profile
What you bring
- 1+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with measurable results you can point to
- Hands-on experience managing/maintaining a WooCommerce (or WordPress) website — not just blogging or designing one
- Comfort working independently and owning outcomes, not just tasks
- Working knowledge of SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one of: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Ubersuggest
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and comfort navigating WordPress/WooCommerce admin and plugins
- Strong analytic skills — comfortable turning data into a plan of action
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Able to work on-site at our Nugegoda office
