Assistant Manager - Credit Card Underwriting

The Job
- Support the development and enhancement of credit card underwriting policies, scorecards, credit models, and risk parameters.
- Manage credit risk across the card lifecycle, including acquisition, limit management, and behaviour-based account strategies.
- Support digital application journeys and system-based credit decisioning.
- Review portfolio performance, identify emerging risks, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, governance standards, and internal credit policies.
The Person
- Degree in Banking, Finance, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit card underwriting with exposure to credit card lifecycle management, credit policy implementation, and portfolio risk management.
- Exposure to scorecards, credit models, digital application journeys, and system-based credit decisioning would be an added advantage.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
