Position: Safety Officer
Job Scope:
- Implement and monitor company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and safety awareness programs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
- Monitor the proper use of PPE and other safety equipment.
- Identify risks and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with supervisors and workers to improve workplace safety.
- Ensure safe working practices are followed at the construction/site premises.
Requirements:
- Male candidates can apply.
- Age 20 – 50 years.
- Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- Previous experience in construction or a similar industry will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct site inspections and safety training.
- Ability to work effectively with workers, supervisors, and management.
