ABOUT RAIA LAKE
Sri Lanka's newest luxury wildlife destination, Raia Lake sits on the banks of Yoda Wewa, in close proximity to the iconic Yala National Park. Twelve tented suites blend seamlessly into the wilderness, pairing authentic safari adventure with pure luxury. We have not yet opened our doors, which makes now a rare moment to join. As our Accounts Executive, you will help create the finance systems and controls of a resort from day one, working directly with senior management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up the finance foundation: Build the systems, budgets and controls before launch
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting: Prepare budgets and forecasts, and deliver monthly management accounts to the board
- Manage cash and risk: Oversee cash flow, funding, banking and foreign exchange
- Lead & Guide: Oversee food costing, pricing, distribution and investment decisions
- Run day-to-day accounting and cost control: Handle payables, receivables, reconciliations, purchasing and inventory, and lead month-end and year-end close
- Ensure compliance and audit readiness: Manage payroll, tax and statutory returns, and keep records audit-ready
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- 3-7 years' accounting or finance experience
- Background in hospitality and tourism
Desirable
- Pre-opening or new property launch experience
- Strong analytical skills and a solid grasp of accounting fundamentals
- Ambition to grow beyond routine bookkeeping
- Genuine enthusiasm for wildlife and nature
