Head of Finance
We are looking out for a dynamic, vibrant and mature finance professional to lead our finance team and be part of our leadership team. The candidate should understand the business needs and challenges and supports the company in achieving the strategic aspirations. The position directly reports to the Managing Director. The selected candidate will lead the Company's:
- Financial planning, preparation of budgets, forecasts and budgeting controls
- Treasury management, investment evaluation and project financing
- Business risk management through application of appropriate controls and compliance
- Preparation of financial statements and reports to enable management discussions and analysis
- Reporting financial statements as per the requirements of CSE and other statutory bodies
- Introduction of best-practices in accounting, controls and procedures
- Tax planning and coordination of tax related matters with the tax authorities and consultants
Profile
- Full qualification of CA Sri Lanka
- Minimum 10 years' work experience with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role (preferably in a CSE listed company)
- Knowledge of SLFRS, corporate taxation and CSE listing and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of financial modelling, project financing and treasury management
- Experience of working in an ERP environment preferably with knowledge of SAP / financial reporting systems
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and people management skills
- High level of maturity and endurance in dealing and blending with the board, banks, tax authorities and other stakeholders
