Operations & Sales Executive
Freight Forwarding
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day freight forwarding operations, including import and export shipments.
- Prepare and verify shipping, customs and other freight forwarding documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, customs, transporters, overseas agents and customers.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on leads and support sales and business development activities.
- Monitor shipments, resolve operational issues and provide regular updates to the Manager and customers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping or logistics.
- Good knowledge of import/export procedures and freight forwarding documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively under the supervision of a Manager.
