WE'RE HIRING
ACCOUNTANT
Colombo, Sri Lanka
We are the Sri Lankan sister company of DPV Offshore & Marine Services LLC (UAE, Singapore), bringing international expertise to develop Sri Lanka's offshore and marine industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
- Handle compliance and tax management
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Oversee banking and cash flow management
- Maintain payroll and employee records
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in Accounting & Finance or a relevant discipline from a UGC approved / recognized university
- 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience (local or overseas)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and MS Office document management
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE
- Professional qualifications in AAT, CIMA or Chartered Accountancy
- Experience working at a shipping or engineering company
- Prior experience and knowledge in UAE taxation and the UAE tax system
