Quality Control Supervisor / Foreman (Coating Inspection)
Colombo Dockyard PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier shipbuilding and ship-repair facility, invites aspiring professionals to embark on a dynamic career path as a Quality Control Supervisor / Foreman (Coating Inspection).
We’re looking for energetic, detail-oriented individuals with a passion for operational excellence to become proud members of our Quality Control team.
Position Requirements:
- Quality Control Supervisor - Full qualification in NCT / NCIT in Mechanical Engineering or NVQ Level 5 or equivalent.
- Quality Control Foreman - Full qualification in NDT / HNDE / NDES in Mechanical Engineering or NVQ Level 6 or equivalent.
Candidate Profile
- Specialised knowledge in Welding or Coating Inspection, along with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) or Coating Inspection Certification from an approved institution will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of two (02) years working experience in a related field.
General Requirements
- Educational Background: Passed GCE (A/L) in Physical Science stream
- Age: Below 40 years
- Language Skills: Strong command of English (written, spoken, and comprehension)
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency in Computer Operations
- Attributes: Highly motivated and energetic; Physically fit and able to thrive in demanding environments; A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
The selected candidates will be appointed on a Fixed Term Contract basis for a period of one (01) year initially.
