DEBT RECOVERY OFFICER

Recovex International is a specialist cross-border debt recovery firm helping businesses recover overdue commercial payments locally and worldwide. Through our global partner network, legal insight and strategic negotiation, we deliver ethical, professional recovery solutions across jurisdictions. We are expanding our team and invite dynamic individuals to join us.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage an assigned portfolio of overdue commercial debts from first contact to resolution
- Contact debtors by phone, email and letter to negotiate settlements and payment plans
- Prepare letters, case notes and recovery status reports for clients
- Monitor agreed payment plans and follow up on missed payments
- Coordinate with the legal team and international partners on cases requiring escalation
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the case management system
- Handle every interaction professionally while protecting client relationships
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Law or a related field
- 1-2 years' experience in debt recovery, collections, banking or credit control (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply)
- Excellent spoken and written English; Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a calm, professional manner
- Good computer literacy (MS Office, email)
- Target-driven, organised and able to work independently
