Port Agency and Maritime Services Operations Executive.
Manaco Marine Private Limited specializes in Crew Management and Port Agency Services in the Maritime Industry.
We are seeking the services of a dynamic and task oriented individual for the post of Operations Executive – Port Agency and Maritime Services
He will be primarily responsible for interacting with Foreign Clients and fulfilling Ship Husbandry/Agency Services to designated Clients.
Role
- Maintaining Departmental records as per auditing standards.
- Attending to Ship Husbandry Services & Attending to all Operations work of incoming vessels.
- Attending to correspondences from Principals and Official Maritime Bodies.
- Liaising with suppliers for shipping related provisions.
- Conversant in port procedures to clear vessels in and out.
- Conversant with carrying out OPL operations.
- Attending to ship husbandry services, including crew changes.
- Attending to correspondence with principals and official maritime bodies.
- Liaising with suppliers for the supply of provisions to ships.
- Liaising with local ship repair workshops to provide engineering support to principals & Handling ship stores in transit
Profile
- Holder of Shipping and Logistics related qualification.
- Age between 25 – 40 years
- 3-5 years’ experience in Shipping Industry in a similar capacity.
- Excellent Communication skills in English (written and oral)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams.
- Residing in close proximity to Colombo 04
- Strong ties and contacts in the Shipping industry would be an added advantage.
