DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, business users, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business and user needs.
- Develop, test, and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software applications in accordance with established coding standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and resolve software defects to ensure application reliability, functionality, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes, standards, and methodologies.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, technical specifications, user guides, and API documentation.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot application issues, and implement timely resolutions for production and user-reported incidents.
- Monitor application performance and recommend enhancements to improve system efficiency, security, and scalability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices, and apply them to enhance software development and delivery.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of software projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & PRE-REQUISITES
- Degree/Special Degree / Professional Qualification or Equivalent related to the functional area from a university / institute approved by the UGC
- 1-2 years experience in similar capacity
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, .NET).
- Experience with software development frameworks and tools (e.g., Angular, React).
- Familiarity with databases and SQL, as well as knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Age should be below 35 years.
