EHS & COMPLIANCE EXECUTIVE

We are a leading Sri Lankan conglomerate with over 25 years of operations. As a tech-driven organization, we are strengthening operational discipline across our Label Printing, Lottery Printing and newly equipped Offset & Packaging divisions.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a responsible and proactive EHS & Compliance Executive to ensure a safe, compliant and environmentally responsible working environment within our factory. The role will involve monitoring workplace safety, environmental requirements, statutory compliance, inspections, documentation and coordination with relevant authorities and internal departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Conduct regular factory safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Identify hazards and follow up on necessary corrective actions.
  • Maintain EHS records, reports, licences, permits and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate environmental compliance, waste management, ETP and related activities.
  • Assist with internal and external EHS and compliance audits.
  • Conduct employee safety awareness and training programs.
  • Assist in incident/accident investigations and prepare relevant reports.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments, authorities and external parties on compliance matters.
  • Provide regular EHS updates and reports to Management.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in EHS, environmental compliance, or a similar role, preferably in a factory/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in ISO, SMETA, URSA or similar compliance audits will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of EHS, environmental, labour, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of waste management, ETP operations, environmental permits/licences, and emergency preparedness will be an advantage.
  • Good communication, reporting, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to work in a factory environment and support operational requirements when necessary.
  • Close proximity to Horana, Millewa, Padukka will be preferred.
