TECHNICAL EXECUTIVE (TRIMS DIVISION – SEAT MANUFACTURING)

Join our team and contribute your technical expertise to deliver world-class automotive seat trims with precision, quality, and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and coordinate daily production to achieve production, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Monitor production performance, manpower, and capacity and take timely action to address delays, bottlenecks, and operational issues.
  • Apply strong sewing expertise to optimize seat trim construction, stitching methods, processes, and workmanship.
  • Troubleshoot sewing, machine, material, and process-related issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct sample development, trials, and process validations, including evaluation and implementation of new sewing machines, attachments, and technologies.
  • Identify and reduce defects, rework, material wastage, and process losses through root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, sewing standards, process specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to sewing operators and production teams to improve skills, quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, 5S standards, and quality systems within the Trims Division.
  • Maintain accurate production and technical records and provide timely performance updates to management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, process efficiency, and waste elimination.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma / HND or equivalent in Textiles, Apparel, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in garment field. Ability in seat manufacturing is an added qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge of sewing machines, stitching methods, seat construction, materials, and quality standards.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting sewing, machine, material, and process issues.
  • Good understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and documentation.
