Qualifications & Experience
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, AAT or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an FMCG/manufacturing environment.
- Experience in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely posting of transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Prepare bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly closing and preparation of management reports.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on collections.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding finance and accounting matters.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
