We are looking for a dynamic and result oriented individual to join our team as Laboratory Technologist attached to the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
Key Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Mechanical and Mechatronics Laboratories.
- Maintaining laboratory safety standards and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Managing and maintaining the component and equipment inventory of the department.
- Coordinating and facilitating the technical procurement process.
- Providing technical support for undergraduate laboratory experiments and student projects.
- Assisting faculty members in marketing events, exhibitions, and technical showcases.
- Performing additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department (HoD) or Dean.
Minimum Requirements:
- NVQ level 6 or equivalent qualification in the relevant field.
- Demonstrating sound knowledge of laboratory equipment and its operation.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
