MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN / ELECTRICIAN

Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

Vacancies currently exist for the role of Mechanical Technician / Electrician. The position will be based in Mathugama Manufacturing Facility.

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Maintaining all plants as per process requirement. (Utility Start-up & Shutdown, Machine Breakdown)
• Attend for breakdown and planned repairs of all Plant & Machinery systems
• Monitor, identify abnormalities, and take corrective actions
• Communicate with engineers/Supervisors and other relevant parties
• Housekeeping and record keeping
• Executing all duties delegated by Supervisors and Engineers to support smooth plant operations

Required qualifications and skills:

• Passed G.C.E. O/L with Credit passes in Mathematics & Simple Passes in English
• NAB, NVQ Level 4, ATI OR German Tech (Millwright fitting, Mechanical, Electrician Industrial)
• Willingness to work on shift basis
• Positive attitude and commitment to work safely
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• 3-5 Years' Experience in relevant field
