PLANNING ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY
- Develop, maintain, and update master, baseline, and recovery programs for high-rise building construction projects. Monitor actual progress against the baseline program, identify delays, and assess their impact on the critical path.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and management summaries. Prepare short-term look-ahead schedules with site teams to drive weekly execution priorities.
- Analyze delay causes and prepare catch-up and recovery programs to support project control and maintain program records to support EOT claims assessments.
- Coordinate with Client, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to reduce coordination clashes, rework, and delays
- Maintain procurement schedules and track long lead items, key materials, and subcontract packages to ensure timely delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from a recognized institution. Minimum 10 years' experience after graduation or equivalent experience in a similar capacity, with substantial experience in high-rise building construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, including baseline management, progress updates, and critical-path analysis.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing for reinforced concrete buildings, from substructure through finishes.
- Good knowledge of construction administration and FIDIC 2017 Red Book.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and coordinate works across different trades.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and support site teams.
