Speech and Language Therapist
Join the MJF Charitable Foundation’s Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy and other Developmental Disorders, supporting children with diverse abilities through specialised, holistic therapy in a multidisciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy for children.
- Create, monitor and review individual therapy programmes with the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, medical staff and special educators.
- Keep current with paediatric speech and language therapy practices.
- Guide parents and caregivers on home strategies.
- Maintain accurate therapy records.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- SLMC & SLSP registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for enhancing the quality of life for children with special needs.
- Tamil language skill would be an added advantage.
Location
Rajagiriya and Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
