DEPUTY MANAGER - INTERNAL EXAMINATION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete examination paper cycle, from submission and academic review to proofreading, finalisation, and printing.
  • Ensure examination papers meet required standards of accuracy, quality, consistency, and readiness.
  • Review and proofread papers to identify and correct academic, language, and formatting errors.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure papers are completed and released on schedule.
  • Monitor and follow up on examination paper issues and ensure timely corrective action.
  • Identify potential risks, escalate issues when necessary, and support effective resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of examination papers, revisions, and related issues.
  • Provide day-to-day academic and operational support to the Assistant General Manager (AGM).
  • Support continuous improvements in examination quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Education, English, a relevant academic discipline, or a related field.
  • Excellent command of written English with strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Prior experience in examination administration, academic coordination, teaching, curriculum development, proofreading, quality assurance, or educational administration will be an advantage.
  • Experience in examination paper preparation and marking schemes will be highly advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to academic quality.
