ACCOUNTANT
Eco Power Group is a leading private developer and operator of renewable energy projects in Sri Lanka and Overseas backed by a legacy of over two decades. The company has established itself as a leading developer, investor, and operator of renewable energy projects. As the Group continues to expand its operations and pursue opportunities in new international markets, we are seeking to recruit a dynamic, proactive, suitably qualified, and experienced candidate who can independently handle our Finance / Accounting Function.
The candidate we are seeking should also.
- Be a professionally qualified Accountant (ICASL / CIMA(UK) / ACCA) with a minimum of 3 – 5 years post qualified experience including in auditing and a high level of analytical skills.
- Be well versed in Sri Lankan and International Accounting Standards and in the preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements and Management Reports.
- Be able to handle the budgeting, taxation, compliance and treasury management of the Group.
- Be willing to travel to the various plants in Sri Lanka and Overseas to ensure the implementation and adherence to financial regulations.
- Have good working knowledge in Microsoft Office packages, Word, Excel and Power Point and have hands on experience in computerized accounting applications, information processing.
- A person with a high level of negotiating skills should be able to liaise with Banks, Financial Institutions, Dept of Inland Revenue and with Auditors.
- Possess good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
