Business Analyst : Product Manager

We are looking for a techno-functional Business Analyst : Product Manager who understands how factories operate and can transform real-world manufacturing challenges into practical, effective software solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with manufacturing clients to understand factory operations, processes, challenges and business requirements.
  • Analyse processes, identify gaps and map workflows, system requirements and improvement opportunities.
  • Convert manufacturing and operational requirements into clear functional specifications and software workflows.
  • Work closely with Software Engineering team and manage them throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Smart Factory and Industrial Software Products.
  • Understand key manufacturing processes including production planning, production orders, material movement, inventory, quality, traceability, wastage, packing and reporting.
  • Support clients and internal teams during demonstrations, Requirement Validation, implementation, training and go-live, including onsite factory visits when required.
  • Identify opportunities for digitalization, automation, process improvement and system integration within manufacturing environments.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Candidates with strong hands-on manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply, even without prior software experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Production Qualification or Industrial Production Management, Industrial Quality Management, Software Implementation or a related field.
  • Ability to understand factory processes and operational challenges and translate them into structured software requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, process-mapping and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to work with factory management, operational teams and software engineering teams.
  • Willingness to visit manufacturing facilities, study production operations and support onsite implementations when required.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • A degree or professional qualification in IT, Software Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Production/Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
