Senior Associate / Associate – Litigation
Invictus Law is a boutique law firm with a special focus on commercial and corporate transactions, real-estate transactions, corporate law, secretarial services and employment law.
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Attorney-at-Law to join our team as a Senior Associate / Associate – Litigation, supporting the Dispute Resolution Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Litigation Responsibilities
- Conducting client consultations and providing dispute resolution advice.
- Drafting pleadings, motions and other legal documents in civil and commercial litigation matters.
- Overseeing filing of documents in Court, coordinating court procedures and making appearances in Court.
- Conduct court appearances and make submissions
- Liaising with external counsel and coordinating litigation strategy.
- Updating clients after each court date and maintaining clear communication.
- Ensuring proper maintenance of litigation files and internal records.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- An Attorney-at-Law, preferably holding an LLB degree from a recognised local or foreign university.
- 2–6 years of overall legal experience.
- Strong drafting and legal documentation skills.
- Strong knowledge in court procedure and filing for civil and criminal matters.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple matters, and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, team-working and leadership skills.
