Key Responsibilities
- 01 Inspect vehicle interior customization work at different stages of production to ensure required quality standards are maintained.
- 02 Check workmanship, fitment, finishing and appearance of seat covers, carpets, soundproofing, headliners, window films and other interior modifications.
- 03 Identify and report defects and non-conformities and ensure timely corrective action by the relevant production team.
- 04 Conduct final quality inspections of completed vehicles before delivery and ensure all identified issues are properly rectified.
- 05 Verify rework and corrective actions and approve completed work only when it meets ECW quality standards.
- 06 Maintain QC records, checklists and inspection reports, while monitoring reoccurring defects and rework.
- 07 Work closely with production teams and supervisors to improve workmanship, reduce defects and maintain consistent quality standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 01 Diploma, NVQ or technical qualification in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management or a related field will be an advantage.
- 02 2-3 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, Automobile, Vehicle Interior, Upholstery, Manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
- 03 Practical knowledge of vehicle interiors and finishing standards will be a strong advantage.
- 04 Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify workmanship, fitment and finishing defects.
- 05 Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with production teams.
- 06 Basic computer literacy and the ability to maintain QC records, checklists and reports.
