Location: Pitakotte, Sri Lanka

Design, develop, test, and implement automation, mechatronic, and control systems for agricultural and industrial applications.
Work with PLCs, sensors, actuators, motors, drives, embedded systems, robotic systems, and automated machinery.
Develop and modify control logic, automation programs, and system configurations based on project requirements.
Support the design of mechanical, electrical, and control system layouts, including preparation of technical drawings and documentation.
Carry out installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and performance improvement of automation systems.
Work closely with Engineering, R&D, suppliers, and project teams to develop and implement innovative agricultural automation solutions.
Support equipment selection, procurement, system integration, and project execution while ensuring safety, quality, and technical standards.
Assist in continuous improvements, prototype development, and optimization of existing automation and robotic solutions.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
1–2 years of relevant experience in automation, robotics, mechatronics, machine design, industrial controls, or related engineering environment.
Practical knowledge of PLC programming, sensors, actuators, motor controls, VFDs, industrial automation and basic electrical/electronic systems.
Exposure to robotics, robotic manipulators, embedded systems, control systems, or automated machinery will be highly advantageous.
Good knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and engineering documentation.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a research, development, and project-based environment.
Good command of written and spoken English.
