VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
SENIOR MERCHANDISER / MERCHANDISER (HEAD OFFICE, WATTALA)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with buyers for product development, costing, and approvals.
- Oversee sample development and ensure timely submission to buyers.
- Manage the entire order process from placement to shipment.
- Monitor production status and ensure timely delivery as per buyer timelines.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers, buyers, and production teams.
- Prepare cost sheets and negotiate pricing with suppliers and buyers.
- Track material consumption and cost efficiency.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and buyer specifications.
- Coordinate with the quality team for inline and final inspections.
- Anticipate production or material delays and proactively address issues.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Apparel Technology, Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or relevant field.
- 2 to 5 years (Merchandiser) / 5+ years (Senior Merchandiser) experience in apparel manufacturing industry.
- Sound knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and production processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of ERP or merchandising software systems is an advantage.
