AMW Capital Leasing & Finance PLC is looking for an energetic and target-oriented Business Development Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote the company's financial products and services.
- Generate new business leads and convert customer inquiries into potential sales opportunities.
- Identify customer financial requirements and recommend suitable leasing, loan, and other financial products.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, leads, and referrals to maximize business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective telephone communication.
- Coordinate with branch marketing teams and relevant departments to facilitate business conversions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and follow-up activities.
- Achieve assigned call volumes, lead generation, conversion, and business development targets.
- Support promotional campaigns, cross-selling, and customer retention initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum G.C.E. A/L qualification.
- Previous experience in call centre operations, telesales, telemarketing, customer acquisition, or business development will be an added advantage.
- Experience in the banking, leasing, finance, or financial services industry will be highly advantageous.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to confidently engage with customers over the phone and convert leads into business opportunities.
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive and persuasive approach.
- Good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working in a target-driven environment.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries, objections, and follow-ups professionally.
- Good command of Sinhala and/or Tamil; English communication skills will be an added advantage.
