JOB TITLE
Assistant Manager Production – Shift Basis
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Contrinex Ceylon is a BOI approved company in Wattala and is a subsidiary of Contrinex Group Switzerland. We manufacture sensors and smart systems as a production hub upholding strict Swiss quality standards to serve the global market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of production and quality targets and to ensure smooth running of the production processes.
- Enable effective communications between management and operators.
- Solve problems and troubleshoot skills to identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems in hand.
- Train new employees on production and coach existing employees. Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.
- Willingness to work in shift basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 4 years working experience in shift supervisory or equivalent capacity in manufacturing environment.
- A diploma or degree in engineering or manufacturing.
- Dynamic, positive can-do outlook with a clear focus on deliverables.
- Excellent organizational, communication skills and ability to adapt.
- Understands the principles of manufacturing and has strong leadership and management skills.
- Computer literacy, report writing skills and ability to analyze, capture and present information efficiently.
