HIRING
HEAD CHEF
BLISS DHIGURAH
A 19 room upscale boutique hotel on a local island in the Maldives. We are NOT A RESORT, but we deliver resort-standard services. Our restaurant, Hermit's, is on-par with resort food. Apart from food and accommodation, we offer water sports activities, excursions and SPA treatments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day-to-day operational management of the kitchen
- Co-creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
- Managing and working closely with other Chefs
- Ensure the variety, quality & cleanliness of all served food
- Monitor & implement portion control established with the recipe cards
- Supply & stock management
- Cost controlling wastage
REQUIREMENTS
- 2-3 years experience as a Head Chef
- Excellent command of written and spoken English language
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and Safety & Hygiene Standards
- Knowledge of vegan & vegetarian diet
- Strong leadership, motivation and people skills
- Solution-oriented
- Can-do Attitude
WE OFFER
SALARY
Salary Range: $1000 - $1300
Salary based on experience
Service Charge Eligible
