MANAGER – IT INFRASTRUCTURE AND CYBERSECURITY (MIDIGAMA)
Indian tyre manufacturer CEAT Ltd, which has a strong presence in Sri Lanka, has incorporated a new subsidiary, CEAT OHT Lanka (Private) Limited, in Sri Lanka as part of its strategy to expand its off-highway tyre (OHT) business. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage solutions
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability
- Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices
- Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions
- Develop incident response and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity
- Conduct employee security awareness training to reduce cybersecurity risks
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate security practices into all aspects of the infrastructure
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelors degree in IT/Systems Engineering/Cybersecurity Systems with relevant professional certification.
- MBA would be preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and cybersecurity
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of endpoint protection and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
