We are a rapidly expanding commercial and retail cleaning company based in Melbourne, currently seeking a skilled and motivated Admin / Accounts Assistant to support our operations remotely. This is a fully online/work-from-home position, ideal for someone looking for flexibility while working in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties to support day-to-day operations remotely
- Respond to emails and manage client communications professionally
- Generate purchase orders, quotations, and invoices as needed
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Assist with payroll and bookkeeping tasks using XERO (experience highly regarded)
- Manage and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
- Handle third-party complaints and liaise with site supervisors for resolutions
- Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams via phone, email, or virtual platforms
- Prepare reports and assist with compliance-related documentation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in administration and/or accounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
- Experience with XERO (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely
- Must be an Australian resident or citizen
