  • You are required to train and mentor the employees in GPV Lanka to meet the organizational goals and keep up the quality systems up to date to comply to the industry standards and new trends.

You will be responsible for

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs that foster learning, growth, and operational excellence across all departments.
  • Lead initiatives to create and refine sustainable systems that align with organizational goals, environmental impact, and long-term scalability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify skills gaps, assess training needs, and deliver solutions that stick.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training and system strategies using data-driven insights.
  • Champion sustainability best practices and continuous improvement across our operations.
  • Conduct sustainability audits and lifecycle assessments to identify opportunities for improvement with HOD Quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into supply chain, facilities, logistics, and product development.
  • Monitor compliance with ECOVADIS, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO-IEC-80079, IATF-16949, CSAE/UL/VDE/IEC environmental regulations and industry standards.
  • Report on key sustainability metrics and progress toward ESG goals.
  • Stay ahead of emerging sustainability trends, technologies, and regulations.

Qualifications needed for the role

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
  • A master’s degree or relevant certifications in Quality Management.
  • Candidates should have substantial experience in Quality Management, preferably within the electronic industry or a similar manufacturing environment. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems: Strong knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE) practices are essential. Experience with implementing and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 or other relevant quality standards is highly desirable.
  • 3-7 years of experience in training, learning & development, or a related HR function.
  • Experience managing end-to-end training programs (design, delivery, assessment).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
