SriLankan Catering Limited is an active member of International Flight Catering Association (IFCA) and International In-flight Food Services Association (IFSA).

The Person We Are Looking For..

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated person of good character with professional qualifications, ethics and with outstanding communication skills for the post of Food & Beverage Service Coordinator. The successful candidate will report to Manager- Airport Restaurant, Lounges & Transit Hotel of the company and be responsible for tasks optimizing the productivity of the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Handle VIP/VVIP movements and Special Events / Functions.
  • Ensure breakages are kept to a minimum at Lounges and maintain records.
  • Report immediately if any irregularities are observed.
  • Assist the Divisional Manager to set up standards regarding Customer Service.
  • Ensure that wastage is kept to a minimum on the lounges.
  • Carry out / follow-up routine matters on all orders to ensure that deliveries are made according to the schedule and specifications.
  • Train and develop outsourced staff / subordinates and make the duty roster of outsourced staff.
  • Monitor cleaning aspects of Lounges, Villa Pod, and Restaurant.
  • Look into female staff grooming and handle their grievances.
  • Ensure Guest comments are obtained from each shift, look into those feedbacks / complaints and provide recommendations.
  • Responsible for achieving the financial targets given to the Division by the Management.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 06 years’ or more experience in relevant field.
  • Diploma in Food & Beverage from a recognized University / Hotel School.
  • Credit Passes for English and Mathematics for G.C.E. (O/L) and G.C.E. (A/L) qualification.
  • Knowledge on Food & Beverage/ISO Standards.
  • High Level of IT Literacy including sound knowledge in MS Office, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills, problem solving skills & analytical skills.
  • Sound planning and organizing skills coupled with a methodical approach to work.
