Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee the inventory and logistics operations at our department store warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth goods movement, accurate stock management, and timely delivery to the sales floor. This role requires hands-on leadership and strong organizational skills to keep our warehouse running efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching merchandise.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
- Implement and oversee stock control systems and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
- Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Optimize space utilization and layout for efficient movement and storage.
- Prepare reports on stock levels, damages, and movement trends.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Handle discrepancies, damaged goods, and returns efficiently.
- Collaborate with retail operations for stock availability and replenishment needs.
Candidate Profile:
- Age: Below 45 years
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple locations
- Excellent communication and team coordination abilities
- Physically fit to oversee warehouse activities as needed
