Business Development Executive
PayMedia is a rapidly evolving financial technology (Fin-tech) company in Sri Lanka that was started to provide the best caliber of total software solutions for banks and other institutes. While keeping the focus on Fin-Tech, the company wants people to trust and enjoy the convenience of digital technology and disrupt the payment processes in the country and around the world.
We're looking for a self motivated and a talented individual who aligns with the following profile to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Planning and Overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
- Training personal and helping team members develop their skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Professional qualification in sales or business development (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in technology, retail, or Fintec solutions.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) for lead generation and brand promotion.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to create tailored proposals and strategies.
