Job Purpose

Operate the Retail Channel efficiently and profitably ensuring its progressive growth by administrating and monitoring activities of the sales force and enforcing policies and processes as per company norms to ensure a smooth sales functions to facilitate the achievement of sales and business objectives whilst attracting the right talent, training and developing the sales force and retaining them to maintain the company’s market leadership.

Education

  • Should have a Degree in Marketing/ Business Management or professional qualifications in CIM/ SLIM.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience.
  • Experience in FMCG industry is a must (Retail/Wholesale).

Behavioral

  • A strong will to be in the field to ensure availability and visibility of our products, and the quality of service of the team.
  • Strong business acumen for result orientation independently.
  • Excellent leadership and perseverance to drive the team for results whilst demonstrating interdependent skills.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills for timely decision making.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on interpersonal, Presentation, Negotiation skills in both Sinhala and English.
  • Periodical and timely reporting/information flow to the Top Management for critical decisions to be taken in the field.
  • Maintain meticulous field related administration.
