Marketing Executive / Assistant - E-commerce & Digital
Location - Kohuwala
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and optimize product listings on Shopify, ensuring accurate descriptions, compelling images, and proper inventory management to maximize conversions.
- Plan and coordinate product shoots, working with photographers or arranging visual content creation to showcase products in an appealing way.
- Develop and execute content creation plans for product descriptions, ad creatives, social media posts, blog content, and email campaigns.
- Set up, manage, and optimize Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic, boost sales, and improve brand visibility.
- Monitor and analyze ad performance using Google Analytics and Shopify's reporting tools to optimize campaigns for better results.
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, e-commerce strategies, and ad platform updates to maintain a competitive edge.
- Perform regular SEO tasks, including keyword research, on-page SEO, optimizing product listings for search engines, improving site speed, and ensuring content is search-engine friendly.
- Optimize the website for SEO by designing SEO-friendly product descriptions, titles, and meta tags.
- Implement SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings for targeted keywords and product pages.
- Basic knowledge of Shopify backend development to assist with minor customizations, troubleshoot issues, and support the development team as needed.
- Work closely with the marketing team to design targeted digital strategies based on customer behavior, sales data, and market trends.
- Oversee customer feedback and reviews to ensure the online experience is seamless and customer-centric, optimizing product listings and the user experience based on feedback.
- Ensure smooth and efficient order processing, shipping, and returns management to enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit!
- E-commerce administration experiences will be considered as an added advantage.
- Experience in e-commerce software applications such as Shopify/WordPress or equivalent as considered as an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Marketing/Business or equivalent.
- Ability to quickly pick up a variety of software applications with ease.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible with working schedule to accommodate business needs during peak season.
- High level of professionalism.
