SENIOR EXECUTIVE - SALES OPERATIONS PLANNING

Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Senior Executive - Sales Operations Planning. The position exists to assist to recognize past trends, assist the sales team to forecast future sales based on the pre-defined annual plan. Assist to provide the road map for the raw material plan, packaging plan and production plan each month based on the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU). Supports the sales team by creating, evaluating, and optimizing data sets and sales applications. Assist in developing targets for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales data to provide actionable insights and recommendations that enhance decision-making and drive sales growth with PowerBI Dashboards.
  • Regularly update sales reports and dashboards based on the latest sales data.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to create ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed.
  • Support the sales team with data-driven insights and analytics for account management, forecasting, and sales target achievements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, IT, and Marketing, to improve reporting processes and data collection methods.
  • Ensure data integrity by cleansing and validating sales data before integrating it into reports or dashboards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Sales Operations / Statistics / BCS or equivalent together with at least 1-2 years’ experience in Marketing or Sales field with outbound call center exposure knowledge.
  • Understanding on creating, evaluating, and optimizing data sets and sales applications by analyzing the big picture.
  • Timely update the Market insights to management.
  • Sound knowledge of Sales applications and development of sales operations, knowledge on market behaviors and commercial aspect of the business.
  • Communication skills, interpersonal skills, time management, decision making ability, negotiation skills.
