Assistant Production Manager

EAM Maliban Textiles Badulla (Pvt) Ltd.-Badulla Factory

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion to pursue a career in apparel industry. The ideal candidate should be energetic, team player with excellent communication, proactive attitude and ability to be self-motivated and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.

What you would do:

• Overall responsibility of the manufacturing facilities and make sure to maintain the customer/vendor expectations while achieving the set KPI’s.
• Make sure to review the performance of the team and arrange necessary interventions.
• Work and implement SOPs for operational activities to maintain operational excellence.
• Make sure OTD/OTIF and necessary quality standards are achieved.
• Use appropriate tools to manage the wastage and improve the productivity level of the plant.
• Maintain a healthy relationship with all level of employees.

What you should have:

• Diploma/ Degree in production/manufacturing/industrial engineering/lean manufacturing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in apparel sector.
• Preference will be given to candidates who has lean manufacturing exposure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills & work in a team-based environment.
• Ability to lead and make rational decision in a fast-paced environment.
