TEAM LEADER - FIT EUROPE

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with elite travel agencies, tour operators, luxury suppliers, and discerning clients to drive revenue and reputation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and SOPs, maintaining the exceptional service delivery.
  • Handle VIP inquiries & complex complaints with professionalism and poise, offering fast, elegant solutions that ensure guest delight and loyalty.
  • Maintain and grow customer and agent portfolios by fostering trust, ensuring seamless communication, and driving long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee the end-to-end client journey, delivering a smooth, high-touch experience from planning through to post-travel follow-up.
  • Manage budgeting, profitability analysis, and cost controls to enhance client value and business sustainability.
  • Supervise logistics and operational execution, including luxury hotel bookings, transport, and exclusive experience arrangements.
  • Lead crisis response and support in real time—ensuring clients feel cared for during itinerary disruptions, emergencies, or unexpected changes.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the travel & tourism industry, with at least 3 years in a luxury DMC handling European FIT markets.
  • Proven ability to create high-end, tailor-made itineraries, with deep understanding of luxury traveler expectations.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English with excellent communication and negotiation skills. (German / Spanish language ability will be an added advantage)
  • Proficient in travel software tools and confident with digital platforms for itinerary planning and client communication.
  • Well-versed in global travel trends, especially within European source markets, and passionate about promoting Sri Lanka as a premium destination.
  • A team player with a proactive mindset, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
