Group Accountant – Head Office, 38, Station Road, Wattala

Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Accountant for the head office to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, costing, and developing internal control policies and procedures. Accountant responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating final accounts.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Immediate availability and experience in the hospitality trade will be an added advantage.
