VACANCY FOR THE POST OF RF TEST ENGINEER
We are a company providing specialist software development services to overseas customers in the field of Satellite Communications, Embedded systems, Field Programmable Gate Arrays, IOT and Mobile applications.
We are looking for a RF Test Engineer highly motivated and responsible.
Candidates must have the following criteria:
Education & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering with a major in Electronics, Telecommunications or relevant field.
- Or NDT Moratuwa in Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering Technology.
Experience & Technical Skills
- Experience in Microwave/Radio Communication Installation or Maintenance is preferred.
- Strong theoretical understanding of Analogue and Digital Communication.
- Strong theoretical understanding of RF components and their electrical characteristics.
- Experience in testing RF components and systems is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers and Vector Signal Generators (VSGs).
- Skilled in conducting basic RF analyses.
- Expertise in developing test scripts and automating tests using Python.
- Familiarity with LabVIEW is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Demonstrates the ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Clear and concise communicator, capable of delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) effectively.
- Possesses a can-do attitude and exhibits flexibility to thrive within dynamic, growing teams and processes.
