WE ARE HIRING
We are a dynamic and growing Legal Process Outsourcing Service Provider seeking a skilled Remote Legal Assistant to support our legal team with administrative and legal tasks. If you have 2+ years of legal experience, excellent organizational skills, and are available to work during early Australian business hours, we’d love to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow instructions from Lawyers, Law Clerks, and Paralegals to complete legal tasks.
- Maintain digital files in line with firm standards, including naming conventions.
- Prepare legal documents, briefs, and correspondence to Counsel.
- Liaise with clients, barristers, and external stakeholders professionally.
- Manage diaries, new client inquiries, and schedule meetings and update time spreadsheets and case trackers.
- Assist in business development event coordination and Support the firm’s social media promotion efforts.
- Collect and distribute electronic mail, and assist with cheque processing.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in legal administration or a law firm environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal document management systems will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in legal administration, preferably with Workcover, Transport Accidents, and TPD matter would be an added advantage.
- Ability to draft legal documents, file through portals (e.g. EFAS, RedCrest), and use tools like Smokeball, Citec, and MCV.
